Pedro “Pete” Perez Jr., age 78, passed away on Sept. 13, 2026. He was born on Oct. 8, 1947, in Refugio, Texas, to Pedro Perez Sr. and Mary Lopez Perez.

Pete is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Susan Lynn Perez and siblings Samuel Perez and Norma Grim.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Terri Perez and children Brenda Lynn Perez and Pedro P. Perez III.

Pete served in the Marine Corps and is a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he earned several medals, including the Purple Heart.

Pete attended Bee County College and University of Houston where he obtained his accounting degree and worked as an accountant for 53 years.

A gravesite service will be held at a future date. Services entrusted to Moore Funeral Home, Inc., 402 South Alamo Street in Refugio.
