Dora Delgado Anzaldua was born in Gregory, Texas, on April 30, 1962, to Maria Delgado Hernandez. Dora was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt whose memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Dora is survived by her children, Jose Enrique “Ekie” Garcia and his wife, Laura, of Victoria; Ruby Anzaldua, of Victoria; and Rosendo Anzaldua, of Illinois. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Marcus Ortiz, Malysha Bailey, Xavier Anzaldua, Janessa Garcia and her husband, Joaquin, and Kyra Callis and her husband, Anthony. Her greatest joy continued through her great-grandchildren: Gianna Ortiz, Roman Ortiz, Hakeem Hamilton and Julian Quintero. Dora is also survived by her brother, Jose Fortino Delgado, brother-in-law, Joe Perez and nephew Joseph Perez, along with many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Victor Hernandez; her mother, Maria D. Hernandez; her sister, Maria “Guera” Perez; and her beloved great-grandson, Johnny Angel Ortiz. 

Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026, Moore Funeral Home Chapel from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m.
